We Actually Visit and Use the Websites

The starting point for a review is the website itself. We open the site and browse it as a visitor would. Depending on the type of website, this can include checking the homepage, category pages, search functions, video or profile pages, menus, filters and other important parts of the site.

We want to know what happens after the first click. A polished homepage doesn't mean much if the rest of the site is difficult to navigate, full of broken pages or sends visitors through confusing redirects. Likewise, a fairly simple-looking website can still be useful if it loads quickly and makes its content easy to find.

When we write about a feature, category or problem, the aim is to base that description on what we can actually observe rather than simply repeating promotional claims made by the website itself.

Content is one of the biggest factors in most of our reviews. We look at what type of material a site offers, how easy it is to find, whether there is meaningful variety and whether the website appears to have enough content to make repeat visits worthwhile.

The amount of content matters, but raw numbers aren't everything. A website can claim to have hundreds of thousands of videos while still making it difficult to find anything interesting. On the other hand, a smaller niche site can be excellent if it has a focused collection and does that particular niche well.

We also look at whether categories appear genuine. If a site heavily promotes Indian, Desi, amateur, MILF, webcam or another category, visitors should be able to find a meaningful amount of that content without digging through unrelated material.

A useful review shouldn't read like an advertisement. If we find something annoying, confusing, limited or disappointing, we want that information to be part of the review as well.

At the same time, we don't expect every site to be perfect. A website may have dated design but a great content library. Another site might look excellent but have fewer videos than its competitors. The purpose of the review is to explain those trade-offs so visitors can decide whether a particular site matches what they are looking for.

Our goal isn't to make every website sound the same. Different sites are useful for different audiences, and our reviews should reflect those differences.

How Our Rankings Are Decided

The order of websites in our category pages is based on the overall usefulness of each site for that particular category. There isn't one single factor that automatically determines the position.

Instead, we consider the combination of content, relevance, usability, mobile experience, advertising, activity and the purpose of the category itself. For example, Indian content carries more weight on a page specifically ranking Indian porn sites than it would on a broader category where visitors are looking for something different.

This also means the largest or most famous website does not automatically need to rank first. A smaller site can be the better recommendation when it serves the particular audience of that page more effectively.

Reviews and Rankings Are Updated

How We Keep IndianPornList Useful

The purpose of IndianPornList is not to list every adult website that exists. It is to filter a huge number of options into categories and recommendations that are easier to browse, with particular attention paid to what Indian visitors may actually find useful.
